~city of new York has been having some strange sightings of shadows creatures and the notorious gang of purple dragons chasing these shadows? Some of the purple dragon members have turned themselves in because of these… monsters? Here is the footage from two nights ago.~


Donatello sat next to Raphael as they watched the news on the TV. It has only been three days since Raph had convinced Don to stay home because of his bad feelings. Don, though happy for his brother’s caringness but swore inwardly as he watched the TV, unnoticeably irritated. Raph showed no emotion as the TV blared, he was pleased that Don didn’t go, but, the video on the TV showed by one of the purple dragon member’s cell phone of not 1 beast. But two. The one chasing the smaller shadowed beast noticeably larger. He felt the anxiety just by watching the two fly over the building and vanishing in the darkness… the one he had faced mutable times, was nothing as powerful as the larger beast.  The video cut off to show a purple dragon crying and mumbling and screaming like a phyco.
“Glad I stopped ya Don” Raph said feeling proud for stopping him.

Don, pleased to have known that there are two of them, still not very pleased to have been home with nagging thoughts. “Honestly, so am I” he didn’t lie, he was glad to have not gone with very little information to run on.

Leo and Mike had gone to get pizza for breakfast. Over the past two days they all have been training hard, Leo and master splinter had drilled them, Don being lazy and exhausted, didn’t mind just sitting and watching TV. Though, he still really wanted to go and complete his mission and this time, he won’t tell anyone, so that when he leaves, Raph won’t be able to stop him.

“Kawabanga! PIZZA!!!” Mikey walked in with a bright smile and two extra-large pizzas in his hands, followed by Leo holding some root beer for Raph and sodas in his other hand for him Don and Mike. Raph and don looked over their shoulders as they approached. Raph and Don both looked to the TV and the smiles turned to a shocked frowns.
~Be on a look out for these two very strange creatures that have the notorious purple Dragon gang turn themselves in and have put them on the run~

“whoaw” Mikey murmured staring wide eyed. “two creatures?” Leo asked, he looked at Don, Leo then realized that Don was right, that there were two of them, not just the one. “yes, two” Don replied. “How are you feeling, Raph?” Leo asked. Raph shrugged, “what am I suppose te feel?” he stated blankly, Don looked at him, “not murderous at all?” Leo asked, Raph raised an invisible brow, then frowned realizing his past actions… “Not in the slightest” he answered and then looked at Mike, “so let’s eat, I’m starving”. Leo put the drinks down and tapped Don on the shoulder to follow him, Mikey happy to set the pizza down only to grab a slice and munch on it, Raph took a beer, and a slice and changed the channels.

Leo took Don to the kitchen where he put the kettle on to boil, “I saw his aura, it has changed darker than it was this morning” Leo said and turned to look at Don, “Don’t push Raph for answers” Don started, “you knew that a few days ago I wanted to go look for her, Raph stopped me because he had a bad feeling, so I didn’t go, despite what I had said to him, I think he knew I wanted to go after her” Don said. Leo sighed in a growing frustration, “How are we supposed to help him if he won’t let us? How am I, the leader, supposed to help him, what good am I if I can’t do anything about what is happening?” Leo asked, hurt, confused and he needed to consult his reasonable brother. “You know Raph, as well as I do, maybe even better, he needs to do this on his own, that’s what he thinks. He doesn’t want us to get involved” Don told him. Leo sighed again and took out a cup and green tea bag in the cup, he paused in pouring the water, that wasn’t even boiled to a steam yet. He put it back to boil.

“Leo, when I met up with her on the bridge,                                                                                                                                                                   she said “to catch one in their darkest hour is to catch them at their weakest.”                                   Now I’m not saying be on a look out for when he is at his weakest. I’m saying when he has had enough, he will spill his guts to us, I know that as time goes it just makes it more difficult, but, just give him the time to figure out that we are here as a family and a team to help him when he needs us” Don said calmly.

“so what then, we just wait for that to happen? What if it never happens and something horrible happens? What then? It will be too late to help him. What if he accidently kills someone because of that darkness, those two creatures?” Leo said.

Don sighed, “just because there are two, it doesn’t mean that chances of his darkness will grow. She’s a victim, she’s bruised, injured, and malnourished. In the video, you can clearly see that she is a lot thinner than the male one. I don’t know if that is how they normally are with their kind, like their builds differ from male to female, but to me, it didn’t look right” Don paused. “I have no doubt in my mind that the male creature is the one that turned Alistair human, I wonder if I should tell him that the male one is here in new York” Donnie spoke in thought.
Leo looked to the kettle coming to a hot boil, “I wonder why they’re attacking the purple dragons, it’s abnormal” He stated.

Don nodded, “so just give Raph his space with this. He’ll tell us when his ready… I know you’re making tea for master splinter, so you can ask him as well.” Don smiled half-heartedly. “I’ll see you by the TV in a few then” he walked off.
Leo watched Don go, after a minute he poured the water into the cup and stirred the tea before walking to Splinter’s dojo, he knocked on the door before entering. “sensei? I brought you some tea” Leo announced. “Enter my son, and thank you” the old Rat said as Leo put the tea down before him. Leo sat down, “what troubles you Leonardo?” Splinter asked, “Same issue, bigger problem” Leo said, “There are two creatures sensei, and I’m worried about Raph, his darkness isn’t dormant anymore, i-“ Splinter cut him off, “you are worried that Raphael will go back to isolating himself?” Splinter stated in a question, “yes and –“Leo started, but Splinter continued, he got up and started walking around Leo. “And that he will go off in a hunt to look for them in an angered rage” Splinter said, Leo nodded. “and in this Rage he might kill an innocent?” Splinter asked. Leo sighed “yes” Leo bowed his head. “My son, you worry too much and start to create ‘what if’s’ in your mind to find the true answers you seek, you first must silence the mind to receive the gentle whisper of truth” Splinter stopped behind Leo and placed his hands on his shoulders. “Meditate my son and do not worry. Raph has grown from the past, and we are all here for each other” Leo breathed in “yes sensei”
Elsewhere~

“you can’t run from me forever girl” said a cruel dark voice with a wisp air echo in his voice. The dark trail followed him as he chased her. He let out a cruel laugh. “Where do you think you can hide? You cannot escape me, so why bother running?” he continued. He broken her wing in an attempt to hold her down, she had gotten away from him with her small frame.  She continued to ignore him and had been running and jumping roof after roof, each time slowing her down. “there they are! Shoot!” gun fire came as Hun ordered an attack, the few purple dragons that weren’t afraid to chase them stayed by Hun’s side and they were peeved. The dark male creature had murdered 20 of the purple dragon members, each of them torn and bloody, brutally placed in a position where they still lived and begged to be killed, he left them and they died slowly. The 4 purple dragons begged their comrades to kill them, they were placed out of their pain quickly. Hun, sick of his gang being attacked by that bastard had told the purple dragons that if they wanted to kill him like he had killed so many of theirs, must join him, the others must go into hiding. Many joined his side, the other fled.

Distracted by the sudden gun fire he blocked his face as Hun shot directly at him, trying to wound him in any which way.

“Foolish human” he growled, pulling his arms away he breathed out hot fire, Hun, seeing the fire explode from the shadowed beast, dodged. And continued to shoot when he got the chance, his men seeing this, ignored the smaller shadow and shot at the larger one, the beast started to also throw fire, balls of light formed from his hands as he attacked.

The distraction gave her some time to run, but a shadow trying to hide in daylight was just stupid, but it gave her more strength than in her other two forms. Going into her human form she jumped down from the building and landed in an alley way, running out she could hear him roaring and the fire exploding, the fire department and police were going to have a shock for their lives and the news reporters were going to have a story of a life time.

She didn’t bother looking back, there was no need too, the screams and roaring over the busy morning traffic was enough to keep him busy for a while.
….

Back at the Lear~
~we interrupt this programme for breaking news!~ the TV blurted.
“AHH not another cliff hanger” yelled Mike as the movie they were watching just started to get good.
~”as you can see there is a fire break out from what looks like” the news reporter paused to look again “a black shadow is breathing and throwing fire at the purple dragons!”~
That was all they needed to get up and get their weapons, “Raph are you going to be okay?” Leo asked. “I’ll be fine fearless, don’t worry bout meh, we got people te save” Raph said making his way with his brothers to the top side.

It took them only a few minutes to get to the scene with the T-truck Don had finished-made. “Raph had already gone stiff just from the sight. They all could feel the darkness and they were only a mile away. “Holy cheese” Mikey said in shock. “I aint moving” Raph mumbled, he clenched his sides and had started to get aggressive.  “None of us are going” Leo announced, “whatever he is, I don’t like it, not one single bit” Leo said, fists clenched.

“Then what are we going to do?” Don asked, “wait or go back to the Lear” He suggested. “Lear, now” Raph mumbled, Don Paused, she could be here, near, he turned back to look at Raph. He wasn’t taking this well. He turned going back when suddenly, a fire ball flew right over them, Don hit the brakes. The fire ball went hitting a civilians car. Luckily, no one was in it, but people started running in fear, looking in the mirrors they saw that the shadowed dude was leading the purple dragons everywhere, in most an attempt to try and get rid of them.  Don, knowing the effects of his darkness on his brothers and him, weren’t good. So he started driving, speeding away. He hated that they had to go, what good were they if they couldn’t help people, he gritted his teeth in frustration as he took the root home. “this isn’t right” he murmured angrily.

When they got back they all got of the T-truck, Don, slammed the door shut and gripped his head, why was he so angry? “Gah! For pity sakes, how are we going to beat them if we can’t go near them!” he Yelled. “I don’t know, but we will find answers” Leo said. “Answers, Leo?” Mikey asked in a small voice. “Yo fearless, that dude is ten time worse than da girl!” Raph yelled at Leo. “I know! But just because his more powerful, it doesn’t mean there isn’t a way to defeat him!” Leo shouted. “yo bros!” Mikey yelled. “stop fighting!” everyone turned to Mikey, it took a lot to get Mike to yell at his brothers. “Let’s not fight amongst ourselves or each other, the last we need is for the darkness to get to all of us.” Don said getting in between Raph and Leo. “it’s bad enough that the darkness has Raph caught up so badly already, the last we all need is for all of us to have the darkness, otherwise we all will be fucked” Don said, and they all gapped, Don never swore! “I have an idea, but I’m going to need to go to LH for help with this” Don started to pace. “Energy is like a field of sorts if we can create a device that will shield us from that certain negative energy we will be able to get this thing sorted out and solved once and for all, I’ll be gone for a few days” Don then started to pack some of his equipment.

“okay, till then, we will meditate an hour a day, to get rid of the darkness we have now.” Leo said. “meditating sounds good” Raph said. Mikey aw’d in response to meditating “it’ll do you good Mikey” Leo said with a smile. “I’ll send Alistair here, just so me and LH won’t be disturbed while we working” Donnie said. “YES!” Mikey smiled. “alright lets go” Leo said leading the way, Raph and Mikey behind him.
Donnie looked behind him, watching his bro’s leave. He looked down and put in 3 med kits just to be safe, adding some more material. He put his coat and hat in the bag and zipped it closed. He got up putting it over his shell and made his way to LH.

Opening the hatch to LH’s home “LH! Its Don!” he called out, again greeted by his echo. When he walked in he went to the lab, peering past the door to see that it was empty, he went to the kitchen and dining room, “hello?” he called again. He wondered where they had gone. Then he heard the big croc’s voice coming from the front door, followed along with Al’s. he put his bag down by the lab and went to go greet them, (lol).

“OH Donatello, I hope you didn’t have to wait long” LH said, his hands full of metal and gadgets, Al carrying a box.  “No I actually just got here” Don said with a smile. He knew Al and LH didn’t watch TV, so they wouldn’t know whats been happening top side. “Oh good good, we went to go get some new supplies for the 4D x-ray and tissue scan I have devopled for when we have to see how far the extent of the injuries go” LH explained, walking to the infirmary. He had 5 beds prepared, and a 6th single bed had the mechanics and Don assumed that was the x-ray thing he was talking about. Since it still had drills and all sort of tools on the floor around it. Don coughed to get the busy Croc’s attention. He looked up, “I need to talk to you about something LH” Don said, “and ive spoken to my brothers about it, and they said they didn’t mind that Al came back to the lear” Don finished. Al looked uneasy “is Raph still-“ he trailed off. “his better” Don smiled. “LH will take you, but till then go and relax in the lounge” Don said and Al smiled and walked away.

LH watched the boy leave, “What is this all about Don?” LH said, he felt sad because he had grown attached to the child. “okay, there are two of them, the girl isn’t the problem, it’s the male creature, me and my brothers went to go help protect the people this morning 30 minutes ago and the moment we got close we all felt the darkness. So we went back to the Lear. Then it hit me, darkness is just certain energy, if we can create a field to keep out the darkness we will be able to at least beat him… but… he also breathes fire…” Don said. LH blinked then looked back to the bed x-ray… then looked at Don.

He nodded. “okay, so how will we be doing this?” he asked. “I’ll be gone for a week, to look for her, so you can take Al back to the Lear, so you will have time to finish this and if I am not able to find her I’ll come back and we can start to work on the shield… and if I do find her, we will also be able to have her as a friend to help defeat that male creature” Don said.

“don’t you think your being a little to rash, Donatello?” LH said, standing up to his full height. Don looked back at LH and he didn’t understand what he meant. “what do you mean?” Don asked. “From what Alistair had told me. Those creatures are not ones to be trifled with. They are dangerous, you felt the energy yourself, Donatello, I’ve seen the fear in Alistair’s eyes. Are you sure you want to go look for her, and how sure are you that she is a victim?” LH said, only being concerned for his friend. “Yes, and I know she is a victim. I want to do this so this nightmare is over and done with. It’s been a year LH. I won’t allow this to go on for another horrid year” Don said. LH looked at him carefully, and nodded, “I trust you will keep safe. Be wise my friend. It wont be so easy, you know it, just as well as I do” LH placed a hand on his friends shoulder. “thanks LH. Ill be back soon” Don said giving his friend a smile before leaving, grabbing the bag on his way out.
Alistair saw Don leave, he was worried, and when he saw the giant croc wonder out with a thoughtful stare, he approached him. “LeatherHead?” Al asked in a small voice. LH looked down and gave the boy a gentle smile, “Donatello has an idea for an invention and he will be needing my help with it. He is going to get some supplies that we will need to complete it” LH assured the boy. Al looked into the infirmary and looked at the bed. “But, what of your creation?” He asked. “I will be finishing it, but, I think instead of you watching me. You should spend some time with Michelangelo, have some fun. Donatello has assured me that Raph is back to normal, and I believe it will be a great time to spend” LH said warmly. Alistair looked down, “I do miss Michelangelo” he mumbled. “Now, go pack your things, this new project that Donatello has in mind will take some time” LH said and he watched him leave to the spare room. LH, felt like a father to the boy, Alistair shared an interest in his inventions and listened to him while he explained, he asked questions of what he didn’t understand and enjoyed just being by him. Being a mutant croc made things difficult, he didn’t have any hope that he will find love and have a family, but having Alistair around made him feel better. He knew that the turtles had the same sense of loss when it came to families… well, except Raph, he had Mona Lisa… even though she had been gone for a few years having her own experiments and intelligence.  He hoped she would return, Mona made Raph happy… perhaps he should give her a call, let her know that he needs her? “okay I have packed my things LeatherHead” Alistair Said, snapping the croc from his thoughts. He looked up and gave him a smile. “lets go to the Lear” he smiled… sadly.

Don had his coat and hat on… he was at the area where the male creature was… he could see a lot of people were injured, but nothing to serious… he could see the direction it went in… he followed the path, noticing everyone. Most were purple dragons… Hun, not to be seen, nor the male creature… “now where did you go” he murmured, he followed his instincts as he walked… he hoped, that he was close by.

She was still running, her lungs burned, her bones ached, her muscles threatened to give up. She couldn’t stop, he was just close by, followed by that gang he was butchering. She didn’t know where to go. Or how to get rid of him.

He had found her at her friends place, that punk Michael dude, and he had got in the way when the beast attacked her. She tried to stop him from harming Michael. She bite him, and her teeth managed to pierce his armoured scales. And that made him release Michael.

 He laughed and vanished. She had tried to heal the poor guys wounds, but that beast had stabbed him with his razor claws and had snapped his arms broken completely, she knew where the hospital was, where the humans treated other humans. She used her shadow form to get him there… he was still there, in a coma, his friends had come two days later to support him… they paid her no attention while she was there… seeing that he was in good hands, she left. He was her only friend that she trusted, he fed her, gave her new clothes and a place to stay, he was kind and that beast had harmed him, but, she was no match for him so she couldn’t give him the same treatment he had given her friend. She shook her head, she shouldn’t be thinking about that, in her condition she might as well be 6 feet under.

Gun fire still rang out and it was getting dark, she had to trick him, get him off her trail… but… how?
